Man oh man what a trip. Stared with Duke hatching the plan some months ago for all of us to ride around Lake Michigan. All of us signed on, and then all of us dropped out one by one. Not to be let down, Duke sets out to do it weather he's going solo or not, and then suddenly we all get motivated once more to make it all happen. Four out of the five bikes broke down in some way or another, each one with its own headaches and level of severity, but we all made it home some how. I can't really explain the roller coaster of events that took place over that weekend, but they were extreme and many. High highs dotted with low lows, but all in all it was a blast of a trip and its pretty rare that I get to ride with any of my friends because so few of them actually ride bikes, so getting to ride five deep and cover some of the most beautiful land in our state was a real treat. God Bless Northern Michigan, and God Bless motorcycles. Long Live the Road Couch Mother Ship!
